Many
of my photographs are of the Rochester and Finger Lakes regions.
Mount Hope Cemetery is an enchanting place and the county parks
are beautiful, especially Durand Eastman and Highland in the
spring.
The
galleries on this web site contain images of these regions as
well as other parts of the country that I periodically visit.
I practice traditional film based B&W
photography and I print all my own images
on sliver emulsion paper, limiting the number of copies of any
particular image to approximately 15. The formats that I use
are: 8”x10” images on a 13”x15” mounting boards, 11”x14”
images on 16”x19” boards, 10”x16” images on 14”x20” boards,
12”x16” images on 16”x20” boards.
The photographs are
either true B&W or sepia toned for a rich brown look. The
sepia toned prints are then hand painted with oil paints.
